Together – Annie Frost Nicholson
‘Together’ features matt black ink on beautiful rainbow mirror board. A2 in size (420x594mm) in an edition of 25. Only a few left!
Annie Frost Nicholson (formerly The Fandangoe Kid) is a London-based multidisciplinary artist whose work seeks to smash taboos around the nuanced complexities of the human condition. Through a curious, colourful and considered lens, Frost Nicholson’s practice looks at what it means to be alive, and her preoccupation with life, death, grief and all their permeations follows her own devastating loss of family members twelve years ago, at the age of twenty-seven.
The Fandangoe Kid era is coming to an end, with the artist using her own name from now on, so this is the final opportunity to buy a print by the artist under this moniker.
We welcome the Annie Frost Nicholson era and are very much looking forward to working with Annie on another print due to Launch Autumn 2023.
Annie: “For World Mental Health Day, I’ve collaborated with The Private Press to release a limited edition print of ‘Together’. The print celebrates all the ways we have found to stay united over the past 18 months and the design originates from photos of my friends dancing, pre-pandemic, that were drawn and reimagined as a way of staying connected during some tough times. It celebrates resilience of spirit and the fact that now we can actually dance together, IRL!”
This screen print is exclusive to The Private Press 'Editions' series.
Please note: orders shipping to the EU and around the world may be subject to a customs fee, for which the sender is not liable. If you have any questions about any aspect of your order please email us.
